The Light Shade Studio

These shades are lovingly and individually made in the UK, crafted by hand using traditional techniques. The colour palette available includes an extensive choice of on trend colours with an array of neutrals and bold citrus brights to select.

The shades are made from 100% silk dupion, satin and linen, its hand woven lustrous fabric, characterised by the irregular texture or stub, it gives a crisp feel and incredible sheen. The fabric is then adhered to the lining material via a machine lamination process. This gives a great quality with no bubbles or lifting which can occur by hand. Each shade has a sharp rolled edge finish, the shades can be customised by using contrasting silk colours or different metallic lining options.

The shades will take approximately three weeks to be made and sent out. It’s easy to order select your shade, select the size, the colour then the lining, finally place your order, if you have any queries please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements. So in the first instance choose the shade style and size of the base diameter, then the shade fabric and finally the lining. Colour swatch card is on offer if you require a colour sample.
