How Can Light Shades Enhance Your Home?
Light shades, including those made by the Light Shade Studio, can enhance your home in several ways, including:
- Adding visual interest: the light shades come in a variety of styles, patterns, and textures, which can add visual interest to your home. Choosing a shade that complements your decor can help tie the room together and create a cohesive look.
- Setting the mood: different light shades can create different moods in a room. For example, a soft, diffused shade can create a warm and cosy atmosphere, while a bright and clear shade can create a more energetic and lively feel.
- Enhancing the lighting: light shades can also help enhance the lighting in a room. For example, a translucent or semi-opaque shade can soften the light and create a more comfortable ambiance, while a clear shade can allow more light to pass through and brighten up a room.
- Concealing bulbs and fixtures: light shades can help conceal unattractive bulbs and fixtures, creating a cleaner and more polished look in your home.
- Adding a decorative touch: light shades can also serve as decorative accents in your home. Choosing a shade that features a unique pattern or design can add personality and character to your space.
Overall, light shades can be a simple yet effective way to enhance the look and feel of your home. By selecting shades that complement your decor and lighting needs, you can create a more comfortable and inviting space for you and your family.
Shades from the Light Shade Studio
Light Studio shades are made from 100% silk dupion, satin and linen, using hand woven lustrous fabric, characterised by the irregular texture or stub, it gives a crisp feel and incredible sheen. Each shade has a sharp rolled edge finish, the shades can be customised by using contrasting silk colours or different metallic lining options.
When choosing a light shade, you should, in the first instance, choose the shade style and size of the base diameter, then the shade fabric and finally the lining. A colour swatch card is on offer if you require a colour sample.
The Light Shade Studio offers 28 silk shade colours in bespoke ranges, which are ideal for dressing up old table lamps. Some of the designs are studded or have pearls so ideal for customising the shades to room colours. The range includes a range of table and ceiling shades and you can see the full range here.
